Dr. Eryn Michaud, PhD, LCPC, SEP
Clinical Director & Co-Founder
Dr. Eryn Michaud is a psychotherapist, educator, group facilitator, and the Clinical Director of Alpine Integrative Wellness. She brings a holistic approach to her work integrating her understanding of the psychophysiology of trauma, developmental neurobiology, attachment theory, family systems theory, and spirituality. She has 15 years of experience as a therapist working with adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families.
Dr. Michaud earned her Master’s degree in Integral Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies and her PhD in Clinical Psychology (with a concentration in Somatic Psychology) from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In addition to this she is certified in various modalities including Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing (SEP), Diane Poole Hellar’s Dynamic Attachment Repatterning, Stan Tatkin’s Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (Level 2 PACT therapist). Her work is also influenced by education and experience with Meditation, Yoga, Spirituality and Eastern Wisdom Traditions. Currently, she is studying Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy.
Eryn lives in Ketchum, Idaho with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time outside, playing with her children, deep conversations with friends, reading, and experiencing the fullness of her life.

Daniel Rothman, MA, LCPC
Executive Director & Co-Founder
Daniel Rothman is a psychotherapist in private practice in the Wood River Valley. Having spent over a decade helping individuals bridge the journey into mature adulthood, he specializes in helping clients actively examine the relationships in their lives in order to build self-awareness, change old patterns, and create healthy new habits. He has significant experience with anxiety, depression, chemical dependence, ADHD, oppositional defiance disorder, and attachment issues. Whether it’s with gentle compassion or assertive challenge, Daniel meets each client where they are using the best tools to create opportunities for growth.
He uses a combination of relational, somatic, and psychoeducational approaches in his practice. Daniel also utilizes neurotherapy (neurofeedback) as an adjunct to talk therapy. Neurotherapy is extremely helpful for conditions such as ADHD and autism.
Daniel has been a clinical field instructor in wilderness therapy since 2010 and currently works as the Adventure Guide for BlueFire Wilderness Therapy. Daniel received his masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Naropa University and is currently completing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.

Cecilee Heath, LCSW, SEP
Therapist & Clinical Supervisor
Cecilee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Social Work Clinical supervisor specializing in treating trauma as it is held in the body. Cecilee has devoted her career to developing an expertise in treating trauma and trauma-related disorders and syndromes through a bottom-up approach. Cecilee has studied under Dr. Peter Levine in Somatic Experiencing, and is a yoga teacher.
Cecilee is also trained in EMDR, CBT and DBT. Cecilee delivers trainings across the state to clinicians and professionals on trauma, trauma-informed care, Restorative Practices, Polyvagal Theory, Incorporating the Body into Psychotherapy, etcetera. Cecilee utilizes Somatic Experiencing and Yoga practices to assist clients in trauma healing, incorporating her knowledge of Polyvagal Theory and adaptive nervous system responses to assist clients in moving from “stuck” nervous system states (with accompanying symptoms of depression, anxiety, panic, ADD/ADHD, PTSD, complex trauma and others) to fluid nervous system states with the “safe and social” branch of the nervous system acting as primary, lending to health, growth and restoration.
Cecilee is currently engaged in a certificate program in the use of Psychedelics in Therapy and Research (CPTR) through California Institute of Integral Studies and in a doctoral program in Integral and Transpersonal Psychology with a Somatic emphasis. Cecilee is interested in non ordinary states of consciousness and the inner healing wisdom of clients, which also informs her practice.
In her free time you will find Cecilee exploring mountain peaks with her husband, taking or teaching vinyasa flow yoga classes, or spending time with her children in the great Idaho outdoors.

Kalee Schwarting, MS, LCPC
Therapist & Clinical Supervisor
Kalee is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in trauma, grief, and crisis intervention.
In her work with clients, she utilizes client-centered and trauma informed approaches, believing that every individual knows their own situation best and has within them the strength and resources to heal. She incorporates attachment-based, Somatic Experiencing, and Internal Family Systems approaches as well as play therapy interventions for younger clients.
Kalee is experienced in working with diverse populations of all ages including individual adults, couples, adolescents, and children. Her areas of expertise include infertility, neurodivergent individuals, Spanish-speaking clients, ADHD, autism, and a variety of learning disabilities. She can also support families in navigating school accommodations for their children.
Kalee offers telehealth services to better meet the needs of clients in rural areas, with busy schedules, or other barriers to attending in-person therapy.

Dr. John Rogers, PhD, LCPC
Therapist & Clinical Supervisor
John Rogers, PhD, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Idaho and a Counselor Educator. He is board-certified as a National Certified Counselor. John works with adults, teens, couples, and families, and he is a strong advocate and ally for diverse clients. John uses a wellness and mindfulness orientation to help clients work through challenges they face with mental health, trauma, substance use, and relationships. He uses a number of therapeutic tools, including relational, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy to help clients meet their goals. John believes that each of us has innate strengths and the capacity to grow and change. He enjoys developing a working partnership that fits each client’s unique needs. John works with clients in-person at the Ketchum office and via telehealth. John has published and spoken extensively on topics of counseling interventions, homelessness, child protective services, and crisis counseling.
John completed his bachelor’s degree at Yale University and his master’s degree in East Asian Studies at Stanford University. He holds a master’s and degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, as well as his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Counseling and Supervision, from James Madison University. John is currently an adjunct instructor at Longwood University’s Counselor Education graduate program and at the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies. He is a member of the American Counseling Association, the Idaho Counseling Association, and Chi Sigma Iota.
In his free time, John is a ski instructor at Sun Valley, loves to swim, sail, and enjoy the great outdoors.

Sarah O’Connell, MSW, LMSW
Practice Manager & Therapist
I work as the practice manager at Alpine Integrative Wellness and am currently working toward my masters degree in Social Work through Texas State University. I am incredibly passionate about wilderness therapy and foster care reform, alongside a longing to work with populations who have experienced trauma and neglect, human trafficking, and foster care/adoption support. I look forward to graduating with my MSW in Fall 2023.
I also work as a local nanny and a youth leader (grades 6-12) for a local church. I live in Ketchum with my husband and two wild pups, and I can usually be found on a trail running, hiking, or backpacking in my downtime.
