Getting Started
We understand that reaching out for therapy can be an intimidating process and we want you to know that we welcome your concerns and want to assist you in finding the right therapist for you.
In order to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation, call our Practice Manager at (208) 450-5645.
15 minute phone consultations are free for new clients and can be scheduled using the form on this page. *Please note, longer consultations or in-person consultations may require a fee.
As always, feel free to contact us with any questions you might have about therapy or about scheduling an appointment.

Before your first visit:
Whether you opt for an in-person or telehealth appointment, the process is the same. Once your session is booked with your specific therapist, you will receive an email from us with a link to our client portal. Please log in and fill out the paperwork as completely as you can before your first appointment. We have tried to make this process as simple and user-friendly as possible. You can fill these forms out and sign with your finger all from your phone. There is also a place for you to upload pictures of your insurance cards if you plan on using your health insurance.
If you have questions about how much your session will cost given your health insurance plan, please reach out to our practice manager at (208) 450-5645. And be sure to read through our practice polices regarding cancellations and billing while you are filling out your intake paperwork so that you are as informed as possible.
Your first Telehealth Session:
We think the expansion of health coverage to include telehealth services has opened up access to mental health care in a great way and we are happy to meet with you over telehealth. However, if you are opting for telehealth sessions, there are a few things to keep in mind.
- Make sure you can meet in a private space where it is safe to speak freely.
- Make sure you have a solid enough wifi connection to sustain the 55 minute call.
Our commitment to confidentiality is strong and it would be unprofessional and inappropriate of us to conduct telehealth sessions while you are in a public place, at home where your children can hear what you are talking about, or at your desk on your lunch break with your co-workers around.
Before your session, you should receive a text and/or an email with the link to your session. Be sure to opt in to text/email reminders. This link will be the same for any future sessions, and you will get a reminder for each of your appointments.
Your first In-Person Session:
Our offices are conveniently located in Boise, Meridian, Ketchum, and Hailey, Idaho. Our locations page contains the addresses you will need. If you have any questions about parking or other concerns, please reach out to your specific counselor.
